Kesar Badam Pista Milk (Saffron Flavoured Almond Pistachio‬ Milk)

Ingredients :
Almonds - 1 cup

Pistachio - 1/2 cup
Saffron - a few strands
Green Cardamom - 2-3 (Grounded)
Sugar - 2 tsp
Milk - 3 cups

Procedure : 
  • Soak almonds and pistachios in water for over two hours, and then remove the skin.
  • Take few of these almonds and pistachios and chop them fine.
  • In a pan, heat the milk on low heat stirring continuously. Let the milk simmer till the quantity remains half.
  • Take 2 tbsp of this hot milk and add saffron strands for 10-15 minutes. It helps release its flavours and colour perfectly.
  • Grind almonds and pistachios into a fine paste. Add this paste to the boiling milk. Stir well.
  • Now add sugar, green cardamom and the saffron milk. Stir well and remove from the heat.
  • Garnish with chopped almonds and pistachios.
  • Refrigerate and serve it chilled.
